Argyris G. Passas
Argyris G. Passas is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and European Integration at Panteion University. He studied Political Science in Brussels, where he specialized in European Studies. He has published articles and studies in scientific journals and collective volumes in the fields of European integration, public policy, and public administration (e.g., "Greece in the European Union," Routledge, 2004 with D. Dimitrakopoulos, "National Administration and European Integration: The Greek Experience," Papazisis, 2009 with Th. Tseko). He teaches at Panteion University, the Hellenic Open University, the National School of Public Administration, and is a regular collaborator with the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration. In his professional career, he has worked at the European Parliament and served as a special advisor at the Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs for the third and fourth Greek Presidencies of the EU Council. He was a member of the Scientific Council of the European Institute of Public Administration (Maastricht) and served as the Secretary-General of the National Centre for Public Administration (1996-2001).
