CHristos K. Zampounis

Christos Zampounis was born on December 3, 1960, in Thessaloniki. He completed his studies at the First High School of Veria in 1978. In 1980, he graduated from the Athens School of Tourist Guides and in 1984 from the Higher Industrial School of Piraeus. He holds a DEA in Political Science from the University of Paris II and a Master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in Washington. From 1980 to 1993, he worked as a tour guide. In 1986, he began his journalism career as a correspondent for Greek magazines in France, such as "Ta Prosopa," "ENA," "Gynaika," "Klik," "Tachydromos," and "Eikones." He later became a correspondent for "Grammi A.E." and "Eleftheros Typos" in Paris. In 1991, he started writing for French publications such as "Point de Vue," "Figaro Magazine," and "Paris Match." He also collaborated with photojournalism agencies like Gamma Press, Sigma Press, and GLMR. After living in France for 15 years, he returned to Greece in 1999 and hosted the show "Prive" on the television channel Mega for about two years. In 1997, he co-founded the publishing house "Fereniki" with his sister, Avgi Zampouni, which has published over 100 titles. In 2000, he took on the role of director for the magazine "Life&Style" until 2010. From 2005 to 2010, he served as a publishing consultant for "Hello," and since 2005, he has been writing for the newspaper "Proto Thema." He is the author of 10 books.
