O Curtis Frye is an independent author from Portland, Oregon. He has written the books "Master Access 2000 Visually" for IDG/Maran, "Microsoft Access 2000 Step by Step," "Courseware Expert Skills Student Guide" for Microsoft Press for ActiveEducation, and "Active-Education's Introduction to ASP," as well as three e-learning courses for DigitalThink (Excel 2000: Data Formatting and Customization, Excel 2000: Data Analysis and Dissemination, and Advanced Database Design). He has also contributed significantly to many other books. Before starting his writing career in June 1995, Curt worked for four years at The MITRE Corporation as a business analyst and for one year as a sales and marketing manager at Digital Gateway Systems, an Internet services provider. Curt graduated from Syracuse University in 1990 with a degree in political science. When not writing books, Curt is professionally involved in improvisational comedy at ComedySportz.
