Antonis Gantzis

Antonis Gkantzis was born in Alexandria on December 26, 1952. His father was the Italian pianist Giorgio Francesco Gangi, and his mother was Eleni Parisi - Gkantzi, of Greek descent. In 1961, he moved with his family to Athens. After completing the six-year high school of the 1960s, he worked as a proofreader for major publishing houses of the time, while also beginning to engage in poetry and occasionally in prose. His writings have occasionally been featured in newspapers and magazines.
