Argyris Ntinopoulos

Argyris Dinopoulos completed his education at Leonteios High School and studied Law at the Universities of Athens, Paris (Paris 2), and London (UCL). However, he practiced law for only two years. He worked as a journalist and war correspondent, covering the wars in Yugoslavia and the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan, Rwanda, as well as other international events from 1988 to 2002. He was then elected Mayor of Vrilissia and, since 2007, has been elected as a Member of Parliament for the B' Athens district with the New Democracy party. His first book, "Zar je ovo Sarajevo?" (Is This Sarajevo?) (Korfi, 1993), describes the siege of the city and the war in Bosnia, while his next book, "The War Tape" (Kastaniotis Editions, 2001), is a romantic novel set during the Gulf War.
