Anthony Bateman

Anthony Bateman, a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychoanalyst, is the director of the psychotherapy clinic at St. Ann's Hospital in London. Previously, he served as the deputy director of psychiatry at the Royal Free Hospital and the deputy director of psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic in London. He specializes in the treatment of severe personality disorders. He is the co-editor of the UCH Textbook of Psychiatry: An Integrated Approach, Duckworth, London 1989, and the author of various articles on psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy in related publications and journals. He is a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society and part of the research staff at the Anna Freud Centre.
