Nikos Vatopoulos

Nikos Vatopoulos was born in 1960 in Athens. Since 1988, he has been working as a journalist for the newspaper "Kathimerini," focusing on cultural reporting. He has specialized in topics related to Athens and urban culture. In 2001, he published his book "The Face of Athens." In 2011, he founded the online citizen group "Every Saturday in Athens," which has over 23,000 members. In 2014, he held his first solo photography exhibition titled "Athens of an Athenographer" at the "ena" art gallery and presented the exhibition "Athens of the 1960s" as a personal project at the Hellenic American Union.
