Panagiota Smyrli - Stratopoulou

Panagiota Smyrli has roots in Smyrna but was born in Patras, where she currently resides. She pursued a career in Economics and for years balanced between numbers and the art of words by writing articles, essays, and stories for both children and adults. She has been awarded in literary competitions in Greece and abroad, receiving the Pan-European Short Story Award for her story "Broken Pomegranate." Literature is now her primary focus. Her works include: "Antheas 201," published by Entos (commended by the Circle of the Greek Children's Book for young readers), "The Cat with the Straw Hat," published by Kastaniotis, "The Jewels of Love," "I Write You a Letter," and "Seven Moons," published by Empeiria Ekdotiki. She has contributed to short story anthologies by Psychogios Publications, including "There Are So Many Things I Want to Tell You, Mom - There Are So Many Things I Want to Tell You, Dad," "Stories Written by Life," and "Immortal Olympic Spirit." She has also participated in poetry anthologies for children and young adults published by Toxotis.
