Dick King - Smith

Dick King-Smith was born in Bristol, England, and worked as a farmer for 25 years, an experience that inspired him to write many nature-themed stories. In 1978, he published his first book, and since then, he has written numerous children's books. His book "Babe, the Sheep-Pig" achieved great success and was adapted into a film beloved by children worldwide. Today, he lives in Avon, England, and has three children and many grandchildren to whom he tells his stories.
