Cathy A. Malchiodi

She is an art therapist, trainer, and art therapy supervisor. She directs the Institute of Visual Arts and Mental Health in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the author of an outstanding handbook, "Breaking the Silence: Art Therapy with Children from Violent Homes" (New York: Brunner/Mazel), and serves as the scientific editor for the journal "Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association."
