
CHristos Karakolis
Christos Karakolis was born in Thessaloniki in 1968. He is a graduate and holds a doctorate from the Department of Theology at the University of Thessaloniki. For five years, he specialized in New Testament Studies at the University of Tübingen. As a visiting professor, he has taught at the Universities of Bern, Munich, Regensburg, and Zurich, as well as at the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies in Cambridge. He is a member of the advisory board of the journal Early Christianity (Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen) and the editorial committee for the critical editions of the New Testament, Novum Testamentum Graece, and the UBS Greek New Testament. His research interests primarily focus on the Gospel of John, Pauline literature, New Testament textual criticism, and New Testament Hermeneutics.
