Giannis Doukas

Giannis Doukas was born in Athens in 1981. He has studied philology and digital humanities. To date, he has published the following books: "The World as I Came and Found It" (Kedros, 2001), "At the Middle Borders" (Polis, 2011, awarded the Debut Poet Prize by Diavazo Magazine), "The Stendhal Syndrome" (Polis, 2013, awarded the G. Athanas Prize by the Academy of Athens), and "Thebes Memphis" (Polis, 2020). His poems have been anthologized and translated into six languages. Two songs with his lyrics were included in "In the Mist of Time," an album by Thanos Mikroutsikos (2017). He translates from English and publishes his writings in both electronic and print media.
