Peter Sloterdijk

Peter Sloterdijk was born in Karlsruhe in 1947 and is a professor of philosophy. He studied philosophy, German literature, and history in Munich and Hamburg. He is the author of numerous publications on topics such as culture, philosophy of religion, art theory, and psychology. He has been awarded the Ernst-Robert-Curtius Prize (for essays). Some of his most significant works include: "Kritik der zynischen Vernunft," "Der Zauberbaum," "Der Denker auf der Bühne," "Kopernikanische Mobilmachung und ptolemaische Abrüstung," and "Zur Welt kommen - zur Sprache kommen."
