Bruno Bettelheim

Bruno Bettelheim was one of the most prominent contemporary psychoanalysts and the founder of the Orthogenic School at the University of Chicago. During World War II, he was imprisoned in the extermination camps of Dachau and Buchenwald. Among other works, he authored the book "The Informed Heart" (1986), which discusses the experience of the Nazi camps.
