Michael McCarthy

Reverend Michael McCarthy was born in County Cork and now resides in Sherburn in Elmet, Yorkshire. After attending St. Patrick's College in Ireland, he pursued further studies and earned a master's degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He has also lived in Alberta, Canada. Many of his poems have been published in literary magazines, and in 1997 he won the Patrick Kavanagh Award for his book "Birds' Nests and Other Poems." The book "The Story of Noah's Ark" is his first with Barefoot Books.
