
Paschalia Traylou
Paschalia Travlou was born in Tripoli, Arcadia. During her childhood, she frequently changed her place of residence due to her military father's transfers. Early on, she engaged in painting, music, and writing. In 1988, she settled permanently in Athens, where she studied Greek classical philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of Athens. It was then that she made her first writing attempts with short stories published in a local newspaper in Veria. Later, she attended a two-year postgraduate course on the Latin poetry of Horace and Virgil, and she recently completed her postgraduate studies in the University of the Aegean's program titled "Gender and New Work and Educational Environments in the Information Society," specializing in issues of clothing and the workplace. She is a member of the Hellenic Authors' Society. Her writings have been published in literary magazines, and her short stories have been included in collections. She was awarded for her literary presence by the women's association "Exaleiptron" in 2016, and her book "Wings of Silk" was nominated for a readers' award in 2008. She is part of the editorial team of the literary magazine "diavasame.gr"
