Anthoullis A. Dimosthenous

Anthoulis A. Demosthenous was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1976. He holds a degree from the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Athens. Between 1999 and 2001, he pursued postgraduate studies specializing in Byzantine history at the University of Athens, where he is currently a doctoral candidate. His research has covered nearly the entire spectrum of Byzantine history, with a particular focus on Byzantine Cyprus. In addition to this book, he has authored two other scholarly articles concerning Cyprus: "L' empire chypriote 1184-1191," published in Byzantine Domos 12 (2001), and "The 'Nation of Cypriots': Ideological Trends in Byzantine Cyprus (965-1191)," published in the Yearbook of the Center for Scientific Research of Nicosia.
