Periklis Mpozinakis

Periklis Bozinakis was born in 1966 in Athens, where he still lives with his wife and young son. He became involved early on with publishing, graphic arts, and painting. He worked as a bookseller and continues to work in a graphic arts studio. For a significant period, he also worked as a musician. Nevertheless, writing has always been his primary occupation, although much of his early material was abandoned or even destroyed by him. In recent years, he has decided to focus primarily on literature, developing an idiosyncratic, unsettling philosophy that fictionally explores the realm of the fantastical and delves into the dark areas of human existence—currently in the form of short stories. He has published the short story collections "Dark Anecdotes and Nightmare Stories" (2002) and "At Twilight, Those" (2003) with Futura Publishing. In 2007, his third short story collection, "Zone of Desolation," was published by Nefeli Publishing. In 2008, his first novel, "Precipitous Time," was released.
