Othon Tsounakos

Othon Tsounakos was born in Athens in 1948. He studied law and practiced as a lawyer until 1994, when he ultimately resigned from the profession. Since 1977, he has been primarily involved in the book industry, contributing to the writing or editing of encyclopedic, lexicographical, geographical, historical, and literary works. Among other roles, he worked with Ekdotiki Athinon (Thematic Encyclopedia and History of the Greek Nation), and on encyclopedias such as "Science and Life," "Hydria," "Hydria-Cambridge-Helios," "Science and Education," "Grand Larousse," and "Domi." He has also contributed to the dictionaries of Stafilidis Publications, and worked with Livani, Kastaniotis, Loukopoulos, Maniatea, Heliotropio, Archipelago, and "Eptaemero tis Kathimerinis," among others. He is married and the father of two children.
