Karl Marx

Heinrich Karl Marx (Trier 1818 - London 1883) is considered the founder of the materialist conception of history. He studied in Bonn and then in Berlin, where he came into contact with the circles of "German radicalism." In 1844, he met Engels, with whom he formed a deep friendship. In 1848, with the publication of the "Manifesto of the Communist Party," he established himself as one of the most important theorists of revolution. Thanks to his scientific authority, he was able to unify the ranks of the European Labor Movement. Marx's thought is rooted in classical German philosophy, French socialism, and English political economy.
