Miguel Ruiz

Don Miguel Ruiz was born in a rural area of Mexico. His mother was a healer and his grandfather a shaman, with a long tradition in the ancient knowledge of the Toltecs. He studied medicine in Mexico City and worked as a neurosurgeon for several years until a near-fatal car accident changed the direction of his life. He left medicine and returned to his mother's side to be initiated into ancestral wisdom. He then apprenticed with a shaman, discovering his own path to awareness. Combining Toltec Knowledge with a scientific perspective and practical common sense, Ruiz created a new philosophy for those seeking truth and personal authenticity. To this day, he continues to share this knowledge by giving lectures around the world. His books, most notably the international bestseller "The Four Agreements," have sold over 10 million copies and have been translated into 40 languages.
