THeofanis Malkidis
Theofanis Malkidis holds a Ph.D. in Social and Political Sciences and conducts research on Politics, Economy, and Society in the Balkans and the Black Sea region. He is a member of the International Association of Genocide Scholars and has been honored by the Press Council of Canada's National Ethnic Press and Media Council for his contributions to the promotion of culture and mutual understanding among ethnic communities. His major works include: "Adaptation and Formation of Rural Society in the Greek State," "Rural Sociology, General Principles of Sociology," "The Armenian Genocide and the Right to Memory," "Aspects of Greek Social Life in the Black Sea," "La situation de la Minorité Grecque en Albanie. A l'égard du Droit International relatif à la protection des Minorités. Dimensions Politiques et Juridiques" (co-authored with Stefanos Abatzi), "Society and Minorities in the Balkan Peninsula. Albania and the Greek Community in Himara" (co-authored with Konstantinos Dimitropoulos).
