
Konstantinos D. Tzamiotis
Konstantinos Tzamiotis was born in Larissa in 1970 and currently lives in Athens. He studied film and has worked in television, advertising, and cinema. He directed the cultural publication "Highlights." He has authored the books: "The Meeting" (novella, Indiktos, 2002), "Deep Well" (novel, Indiktos, 2003), "The Degree of Difficulty" (novel, Indiktos, 2004), "Parable" (novella, Kastaniotis, 2006), "The Invention of the Shadow" (novel, Kastaniotis, 2008), "Terminal Station" (play, Exarchia, 2015), "The City and the Silence" (novel, Kastaniotis, 2013), "The Passage" (novel, Metaichmio, 2016), "An Extremely Simple Job" (play, Exarchia, 2017), "Maybe Next Time" (novel, Metaichmio, 2017), and has participated in collective, thematic literary projects. His first play "Neutral Zone" won the State Award for Emerging Playwright. His novel "The Passage" received The Athens Prize for Literature from the magazine "(de)kata" in 2017. His play "An Extremely Simple Job" was included in the European Theatre Anthology. His writings and articles on cultural and contemporary art topics have been translated into several languages.
