
Nikolas A. Sevastakis
Nikolas Sevastakis was born in Karlovasi, Samos, in 1964. He studied political science at Panteion University and political theory at the Institute of Political Studies at Lyon II University in France. His doctoral dissertation focuses on the Heideggerian critique of technology and modernity. He has engaged in poetry, essays, criticism, and occasionally translation. Since 1999, he has been teaching political and social philosophy, initially at the Department of Sociology at the University of the Aegean, and since 2006 as an associate professor at the Department of Political Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Through a series of books and articles, he has explored issues related to the critique of ideology and modernity. He resides in Thessaloniki.
