
Alkistis Papadimitriou
Alkistis Papadimitriou holds a degree from the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in Germany. She worked for several years on the excavation of the German Archaeological Institute at the Lower Acropolis of Tiryns and served as a scientific assistant to the late excavator Klaus Kilian. Since 1991, she has been serving in the Archaeological Service of the Ministry of Culture as a curator of antiquities, responsible for the archaeological sites of Tiryns, Argos, and Hermione.
