Eckhart Tolle

Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany, where he spent the first thirteen years of his life. After graduating from the University of London, he became a researcher and supervisor at the University of Cambridge. At the age of twenty-nine, a profound spiritual transformation nearly dissolved his old identity and radically changed the course of his life. He dedicated the following years to understanding, assimilating, and deepening this transformation, which marked the beginning of an inner journey filled with emotions. For the past ten years, he has been a counselor and spiritual teacher, working with individuals and small groups. Since 1996, he has lived in Vancouver, Canada.
