Nikos Kleitsikas

Born in Athens in 1956, he studied at the University of Naples, where he earned his degree in History and Archaeology. He worked at the University of Naples, the Italian General Confederation of Labour (C.G.I.L.), and participated in archaeological excavations with Professor Louis Godart. During his university studies, he was actively involved in the Greek and Italian student movements as a member of the Central Council of P.A.S.P., president of the Association of Greek Students in Naples, president of the Federation of Greek Student Associations in Italy, and a member of the Committee of Foreign Students in Italy, among other roles. He also participated in numerous international bodies and organizations, including the central leadership of the League for the Rights and Liberation of Peoples (Bertrand Russell Tribunal) and as a member of Lega Ambiente (an ecological movement). In Italy, he was a pioneer and a member of the administrations of the Greek-Italian Center for Studies, the Center for Historical Studies of Cyprus, and the Association of Greek Workers in Naples. He worked in Italy for six months during the Italian political elections (April 2006) with the team of Thetacom Ltd, alongside Frank Luntz, focusing on Political Communication Strategy for the center-left alliance Unione, led by Romano Prodi. He is a member of scientific associations and organizations in Greece and abroad.
