Manos G. Mpiris

Manos Biris graduated in 1967 from the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holds a doctorate from the Technical University of Munich. He is currently a full professor of Architectural History at NTUA and the program director of the postgraduate department for Monument Restoration. His research and writing focus primarily on modern urban architecture, particularly Athenian classicism. He has contributed to the understanding and preservation of our architectural heritage through his publications (books, magazines, daily press) and his active participation in relevant committees.
