Ageliki Lalou

Angeliki Lalou was born in Athens. She studied Greek Philology with a specialization in Linguistics at the School of Philosophy in Athens. Professionally, she has been involved in text editing and has worked as a copywriter and journalist in the magazine industry. She was a founding member of the company "En Kyklō," where she collaborated with other members on editing and translating books. She also regularly contributes to the "Classical Library" column in the magazine Historical Topics. In recent years, she has been deeply engaged in children's literature, either as a coordinator of children's events or through her column "Growing Up with a Book" on the website www.childit.gr. Her articles on children's literature have also been published elsewhere, such as in the magazine Bookstand. She has published four adaptations of classic fairy tales (Heidi, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Black Beauty), and she enjoys writing poetry and fairy tales. Recently, her first children's and young adult novel, The Last Desk, was released. Above all, she is a fun-loving mom who enjoys growing up alongside her son!
