CHristina Argyropoulou

Christina Argyropoulou was born in Skoura, Patras. She studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and later at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens. She served as a philologist for many years in secondary education and as a School Counselor. Additionally, she worked at the Ministry of Education in the State of Victoria in Melbourne and at the European School of Luxembourg, where she taught the European Baccalaureate. From 2000 to 2007, she transitioned to higher education after being elected to the position of Advisor at the Pedagogical Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Modern Greek Philology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), with a dissertation titled: "Language in the Poetry of E. Kaknavatos, Grammar and the Functions of Poetic Language." She has a DEA, a Teaching Certificate for Secondary Education, and extensive training and research work in Modern Greek Literature and Language. Her writing portfolio includes both school textbooks and individual works. She has contributed numerous articles and, as a retiree, participates in conferences, seminars, and workshops with her articles. She also writes poetry and authors books on Homeric culture and modern Greek poets and prose writers.
