Liza Marklund

Eva Elisabeth (Liza) Marklund (born 1962) is a Swedish author, publisher, journalist, and UNICEF goodwill ambassador. Her crime novels featuring the tireless reporter Annika Bengtzon have achieved international success, selling 13 million copies in 30 languages to date. Marklund is the only author to have reached the number one spot on the bestseller lists in all five Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland). She has received numerous accolades, including a nomination for the Glass Key award for the best Scandinavian crime novel.
