Riki Matalliotaki

Riki Matalliotaki was born, lives, and works as a journalist in Heraklion, Crete. She has been practicing journalism and has worked for the magazine "Stigmes" as the cultural editor for fifteen years, as well as for the newspapers "Tolmi," "Patris," "Nea Kriti," "Kriti Press," and "Kyma." In recent years, she has been the editor-in-chief of the Cretan site http://cretablog.gr. In the literary field, she has authored 12 books: Published by Dorikos, her works include "O Protogonatos tis Kardias Mou," "I Agapi Nikise to Chrono," "To Trenaki," "Dia Cheiros Zois," "Glyko Vyssino," "Ston Meltemion tis Raches," "De Thelo na Xodefto Allo," "Ach Pos tis Aresi na Mila...," and "Ston Kokkino Paradeiso tis Agapis." From Ostria Publications, her books include "I Akampsia tou Aischous," "I Smyrnia," a historical novel based on a true story, "Erotas stis Oures ton Sysition," and her latest, "Oi Lefkes tis Aionias Agapis - I Kori tou Papa," another historical novel based on a true story. Her literary work has been repeatedly awarded by public and private organizations.
