Ben S. Bernanke

Ben S. Bernanke is a Distinguished Fellow in Residence in the Economic Studies Program at the Brookings Institution. From February 2006 to January 2014, he served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve System, the central bank of the United States. From June 2005 to January 2006, he was the Chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers. He studied economics at Harvard and received his Ph.D. from MIT.
