Gordon Korman

Born on October 23, 1963, in Montreal, Canada, he grew up there. At the age of 13, he wrote a story for his school literature teacher that was so entertaining and well-written that by the age of 14, he became the youngest author for a major children's publishing house! By the time he finished high school, he had already published 5 books, and several of his articles had appeared in Canadian newspapers. He moved to the United States, where he studied literature at New York University. He is known for the humor and realism in his writings for children and young adults. He has written more than 40 books, which have become major publishing successes worldwide. He lives in Long Island with his wife and their son.
