CHaralampos Oikonomou

Charalampos Oikonomou was born in Athens and studied sociology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. He pursued postgraduate studies in health services management at the National School of Public Health and, in 1997, earned a Ph.D. from Panteion University in the field of social and political health. He teaches in the Department of Sociology at Panteion University and in the Department of Health and Welfare Unit Management at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He has published works in both Greek and English on health policy and systems issues in Greece and Europe.
