CHaris Kontosfyris

Haris Kontosfyris was born in Mytilene, Lesvos, in 1965. He lives and works in Athens. He studied directing at the Hatzikos School in Athens (1984-1987) and at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1987-1993). He has held a total of 14 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Since 2007, he has been teaching at the Department of Plastic Arts at the University of Ioannina, and in 2010, he was elected Assistant Professor at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Western Macedonia (Florina).
