Nikos P. Terzis

Nikos P. Terzis, Professor Emeritus at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, studied at the School of Philosophy in Thessaloniki (Philology) and at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (Pedagogy, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology) at the University of Heidelberg. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Heidelberg, served as a lecturer in Pedagogy, and subsequently became a professor at the School of Philosophy in Thessaloniki (Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy). He taught subjects related to the History of Modern Greek Education, Comparative Pedagogy, Sociology of Education, and Continuing Education. He served as the president of the Pedagogical Society of Greece (1993-97) and the Balkan Society for Pedagogy and Education (1997-2009).
