Richard Lee Byers

Richard Lee Byers holds an MA in psychology. He worked for a decade in a psychiatric clinic but eventually left psychiatry to pursue writing. He has authored fifteen novels, including "The Vampire's Apprentice," "Dark Fortune," "Dead Time," "Dark Kingdoms," "Soul Killer," and "The Shattered Mask." His short stories have been featured in numerous anthologies, such as "Skull Full of Spurs," "Inherit the Earth," "Strange Attraction," "Neverwinter Nights," and "Realms of Shadow," as well as in "Dragon" magazine. He lives in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA, which serves as the setting for many of his horror works. In his free time, he practices fencing and often participates in local tournaments. He is a dedicated role-playing game enthusiast, usually taking on the role of game master, and is frequently invited to science fiction conventions held in Florida.
