Dimitrios A. Sidiropoulos

Dimitris Sidiropoulos was born in Germany in 1966 and currently resides in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Rhodes in 1986. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Dimitris Glinos Teachers' Training College of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in General Education (1998) and a Master's Degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in School Pedagogy (2002). He has been serving in primary education since 1988. His scientific and research activities primarily focus on School Pedagogy, Didactics, the History of Education, and the Sociology of Education. His main thematic interests include the welfare state, the qualitative enhancement of provided education, and the design and evaluation of broader educational policies and reforms.
