Vasilis CH. Papas

Vasilis Ch. Papas was born in Edessa in 1954 and studied Italian Philology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Florence. He has published the poetry collections "Paragraph 1, 2" (Exantas 1987, Ta Tramakia 1995), "Documentary" (Delfini 1995), "Morning on the Brow" (Kedros 2003), "Chiaroscuro" (Kichli 2018). In 2001, an anthology of his poems titled "At My Door" was published in North Macedonia, and in 2004, the collection "Morning on the Brow" was released. In 2007, an anthology of his poems was published in a bilingual edition titled "Fruhmorgens am Felsrand" by Romiosini Editions in Germany. His poems, texts, and translations have been published in magazines such as "To Dentro," "Poetry," "Nea Estia," "Entefktirio," "Ypostego," "Paremvasi," "Dekata," "Poliorkia," "Othoni," "Apiliotis," and in newspapers like "I Avgi," "I Kathimerini," "Aggelioforos." His poems have been included in many anthologies in Greece and abroad and have been translated into Swedish, English, Italian, German, French, Bulgarian, and Slavic Macedonian.
