Alexis Lecaye

Alexis Lecaille is one of the most renowned authors of detective novels (for both adults and minors) in France. Among the books he has published are the following: La dissolution (1980), Marx et Sherlock Holmes (1981), Le bagnard, la voyante et l'espion (1983), Chronique d'un juge ordinaire (1999). Many of these have been adapted for French television, sometimes under his own direction. Einstein and Sherlock Holmes was released in France in 1989, in a series directed by the famous director Claude Chabrol.
