Maria Kakavoulia

Maria Kakavoulia was born in Athens (1956). She studied Modern Greek Philology at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens and Literary Theory at the University of Birmingham in England. She taught Modern Greek Literature and Language at the University of Munich in Germany, and since 1996, she has been teaching Stylistics, Rhetoric, and Narrative Theory at Panteion University. She has published the book "Interior Monologue and its Discursive Formation in M. Axioti's 'Difficult Nights'" (Universitat Munchen 1992). She has also published critical articles, essays, and book reviews in both Greek and English in collective volumes, journals, and conference proceedings.
