
Ilias Gris
Ilias Gris hails from Krestena, Olympia. He studied economics and worked in journalism across various media, primarily in public television. He has published: "Ravaged City" (1980, 1984), "At the Bridges of the World" (1982), "Hostile Landscape" (1983, 1985, 1990), "Lethargic World" (1987, 1990), "The Ephesus of Horses" (1993), "Alpheios Ancestor" (2005). He has also published a collection of short stories and two novels. He edited a volume on Takis Sinopoulos and released three anthologies and a book of essays. Part of his work has been included in anthologies and translated into English, Italian, Bulgarian, German, Russian, Spanish, and Persian. He served on the Script Committee of E.R.T. (1993-1995) and the Cyprus State Literary Awards Committee (2003-2005). He is a member of the Journalists' Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA) and the Society of Authors.
