Lampros CH. Siasos

Lambros Chr. Siassos was born in K. Kerasovo, Messolonghi, in 1952 to farmer parents. After completing his studies at the Theology School of Thessaloniki, he pursued specialized studies in ancient Greek philosophy for five years at the Sorbonne under Professor P. Hadot. In 1983, he defended his philosophical dissertation in Paris on Proclus' "Elements of Theology," and in 1984, he completed his theological dissertation in Thessaloniki on the comparative epistemology of the Areopagite and Proclus. Since 1985, he has been teaching History of Philosophy and selected courses in Comparative Theology and Philosophy at the Department of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
