Michelle Paver

Michelle Paver was born in Malawi to a South African father and a Belgian mother. When she was young, her parents settled in Wimbledon, England, where she still resides. After excelling in biochemistry at the University of Oxford, she became a lawyer and worked until the end of 1998 at a major London law firm specializing in patent law. She then left the legal profession to dedicate herself entirely to writing.
