Nektaria Palaiologou

Nektaria Palaiologou studied at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Athens. She holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in Education (University of Athens) and a postdoctoral degree in Intercultural Education (University of London). Additionally, she conducted a second postdoctoral research in Greece in the field of Teacher Education and Training (I.K.Y.). She has taught at the Department of Special Education at the University of Thessaly and the Department of Preschool Education at Democritus University, as well as at the Hellenic Police Academy. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Marasleio Teaching School of the University of Athens. Her research interests focus on Intercultural Pedagogy and Teacher Education and Training. She has published articles in these fields in both Greek and international journals. She is a member of the Centre of Intercultural Studies at the Institute of Education, University of London, and collaborates with the center's director, Professor Jagdish Gundara.
