Odysseas Eyagelou

Odysseas Evangelou is an educator. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Pedagogical Academy of Lamia, he pursued further education at the Marasleio Didaskaleio of Primary Education at the University of Athens. He is a graduate of the Academic and Professional Advancement Program for Primary Education Teachers from the Department of Primary Education at the University of Athens. Additionally, he holds a master's degree from the Transnational Inter-University Postgraduate Program "Comparative Education and Human Rights," organized by the Department of Early Childhood Education (T.E.A.P.H.) at the University of Athens and the Institute of Education - University of London, and he is a Ph.D. candidate at the T.E.A.P.H. of the University of Athens. He has taught in primary schools domestically and in 1991 was seconded to schools in Melbourne, where he worked for five years. He has published articles in journals and presented at conferences. His interests focus on Intercultural Pedagogy and Didactics, Bilingual Education, Teaching Greek as a Second Language, Curriculum Development, and Educational Policy.
