Arthur Japin

Arthur Japin was born in 1956. Having worked for years as an actor and opera singer, he made his writing debut in 1996 with "Magical Stories." He gained recognition with his novel "The Black Man with the White Heart" (1997), which received numerous accolades in the Netherlands and was translated into many foreign languages. This was followed by the short story collection "The Fourth Wall" (1998) and the novel "The Lion's Dream" (2002).
