Menios Sakellaropoulos
Menios Sakellaropoulos did not engage with heinous crimes immediately after his studies at the Law School of the University of Thrace, but only much later in his novels. Journalism had already won him over, a field he has been involved in for forty-six consecutive years. He began his career as a high school student at "Fos," experienced the ink at newspapers like "Vradyni," "Ethnos," "Eleftheros Typos," "Athlitiki," "Sportime," "Derby," and magazines such as "Eikones," "Nitro," "Active," "Epikaira." He also delved into radio (ERA, Sport FM, Sentra FM, SPORT 24) and worked with Mega Channel, Open TV, and returned to Mega. He has traveled around Europe three times, reaching as far as South Africa, with hundreds of reports and thousands of videos, all with his unique touch. He is a member of the Journalists' Union of Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA) and the Panhellenic Sports Press Association (PSAT), from which he has been awarded four times for television topics. In 2024, he was honored with the Botsis Award in the presence of the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou. He remains youthful and explosive, continues to dream, smile, and engage in sarcasm and self-deprecation, and believes in brighter days.
