
Giannis Giannellis - THeodosiadis
Giannis Giannellis-Theodosiadis was born in Mytilene and studied law at the University of Athens. He worked as a lawyer in Mytilene. In 2007, he was elected for the fourth time as a member of the Hellenic Parliament. He has been honored by the Dutch Government with the highest distinction of the Order of the Knights of Orange.
He has authored: "Popular Political Satire at the End of the 19th Century" (Efesos Publications, 2001) and "The People Illustrate Their History" (I. Sideris Publications, 2003), as well as the novels "Ismail and Rosa" (Patakis Publications, 2004), which has been translated and published in Turkey and adapted into a film titled "The Rose of Smyrna," "The Gaze of Hera" (Patakis Publications, 2008), "Jorge's List" (Patakis Publications, 2011), and "Cafe Napolitano" (Aiolida, 2013). He has also written studies on our folk culture.
